Cincinnati Red's Post Game Fireworks Show
Throughout the summer the Cincinnati Red's host a fireworks display after any Friday home game. I photographed the fireworks from the General James Taylor Park, located in Newport, KY.
One of the Scouts from the Boy Scout Troop that I work with is interested in photography and I had invited him to join me so that he could learn how to photograph fireworks. Adrian hadn't ever photographed fireworks and was excited to learn. We took some time talking through the process of capturing fireworks and then got ready for the display to start. Unfortunately, the game lasted about 1.5 hours longer than a typical game, but we just hung out by the edge of the Ohio River. In the end it was a good show, and Adrian was able to walk away with some neat fireworks photos. Great job, Adrian!
I had asked Adrian to send me his 3 favorite shots from the evening along with his best image of the Roebling Suspension Bridge. His work is displayed below. Excellent job, Adrian!
