Riverfest 2021
Cincinnati Riverfest is an annual festival held on Labor Day weekend along the Ohio River in Cincinnati. Each year the festival draws nearly 500,000 people. The festival was first organized in 1977 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the rock and roll station WEBN. The highlight of the festival is the fireworks display, which is one of the largest in the Midwest. Fireworks are launched from a string of barges in the river as well as from the Taylor Southgate Bridge and the Purple People Bridge. The photos below were taken from the western end of the Serpentine Wall.
