WILL YOU PARTNER WITH ME?
February 17
I am sharing with you an exciting opportunity that I have coming up this spring. I have signed up to go with my church on a weeklong mission trip to Guatemala. We will be working alongside an organization called Cooperative for Education. For over 25 years this organization has been working in Guatemala to break the cycle of poverty by providing quality education to young people. If you are interested in learning about this organization, you can visit their website at https://coeduc.org/.
We will be working alongside middle and high-school students and local staff on community-based service projects such as language exchanges and youth development activities, and office-based projects like preparing hundreds of teacher-training materials or helping with maintenance and cleaning in computer labs and developing relationships while experiencing and sharing God’s love in powerful new ways.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus gave the Great Commission to all Christians when he said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.” Not everyone can travel to another country, so I am reaching out to you now to ask if you will partner with me, so that together, we can work to spread the love of Jesus to a distant corner of the world.
Another verse that resonates with me regarding this trip is Matthew 25:40. In this verse, Jesus tells his disciples that “Whatsoever you do to the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” By serving the children of Guatemala, we will be able to serve Jesus himself.
There are two ways that you can partner with me. The most important way is through prayer. Some specific things I would like to ask prayer for:
The second way you can partner with me is to provide financial support. Would you be willing to donate towards the cost of this trip? Donations can be made at the link https://fcsmnstry.io/c6r/pMSNJlRhQg.
Lastly, if you would like to be added to the distribution list for new releases of my blog, please let me know at stevelohmueller@gmail.com.
Thank you!

- Safety for myself and the rest of the team
- Courage and strength for everyone
- Ability to step out of our comfort zones and to be bold and strong
- That those we are working with will experience the love of Jesus
- That the experience will have a positive impact on the children of Guatemala as well as all the members of the team
